SEAS Excel W15CH001 - E0037-08S 5.5'' Woofer

The magnesium cone provides the woofer with a high degree of stiffness and lightness, which results in excellent transient response and detail retrieval. The natural rubber surround is non-resonant and provides the woofer with a wide frequency response. The patented Hexadym magnet system is acoustically transparent and helps to reduce cavity resonances and air flow noise. The heavy copper rings reduce non-linear and modulation distortion, and increase the overload margin. The solid copper phase plug enhances the performance of the copper rings and improves heat conduction away from the pole piece. The extremely stiff and stable injection-molded metal basket keeps the critical components in perfect alignment.
