      SEAS ML15RCY/TP Midrange Driver

       

      The SEAS ML15RCY/TP is a high-fidelity pure midrange driver optimized for sealed enclosure use in advanced multi-way speaker systems. Its anodized aluminium cone is engineered to extend the break-up frequency well beyond the usable range, allowing the cone to remain in pistonic motion across its passband. This design minimizes coloration and ensures clean, natural reproduction of vocals and instruments.

       

      The FEA-optimized magnet system incorporates a precisely machined copper sleeve that enhances linearity and reduces distortion, even under high dynamic loads. The titanium voice coil former paired with a short copper winding increases force transfer efficiency and keeps mechanical damping low, enabling the driver to reproduce transient details with precision and finesse.

       

      Additional design refinements include an inverted rubber surround that mitigates edge diffraction and a rigid, open-frame die-cast basket that maintains structural alignment while promoting optimal airflow.
