The Scan-Speak Classic 15W/8534T00 is a high-quality midwoofer that is suitable for a wide range of applications. The Phenomax cone is a new material developed by Scan-Speak that combines the best properties of Kevlar and carbon fiber. It is very rigid and has excellent damping characteristics, which results in a smooth and accurate midrange response. The 38mm voice coil is wound on a titanium former, which is more rigid than a conventional aluminium former. This helps to improve the woofer's dynamic performance.

It features a Phenomax cone, a 38mm voice coil on a titanium former, a symmetrical drive motor system, and a low loss linear rubber suspension.
