      PRV Audio RPD290Py Polyimide Replacement Diaphragm for Horn Compression Drivers

       

      The PRV Audio RPD290Py replacement diaphragm is engineered specifically for use in PRV Audio D290Py horn compression drivers. Its polyimide diaphragm material is selected for durability and stable acoustic performance, making it well suited for both professional audio systems and demanding DIY loudspeaker projects.

       

      A Kapton® former supports a 44.5 mm diameter copper voice coil, improving thermal stability and allowing for higher power handling. This design supports reliable operation even when the driver is crossed over as low as 1,500 Hz using a 12 dB per octave high pass filter. The field replaceable construction ensures that maintenance and repairs can be completed quickly, minimizing downtime while maintaining the original sound character of the compression driver.
