      PRV Audio 6MR500-NDY-4 Professional Midrange Driver

       

      The PRV Audio 6MR500-NDY-4 is a 6.5” 4-ohm professional midrange loudspeaker built for pro audio and high-efficiency systems, including line arrays and compact sound enclosures. It features a lightweight neodymium magnet assembly that significantly reduces overall driver weight without compromising power or output. Rated at 250 Watts RMS and 500 Watts program power, this driver handles demanding performance needs with ease.

       

      With a high sensitivity of 96 dB (2.00V at 1m), the 6MR500-NDY-4 delivers powerful output even with lower amplifier power. The specially engineered pole piece improves high-frequency extension and reduces harmonic distortion, making it ideal for vocal reproduction and detailed midrange clarity.

       

      Constructed with a durable die-cast aluminum frame and a 2” CCAW voice coil wound on a Kapton former, the driver ensures efficient heat dissipation and mechanical stability. It offers a wide frequency range from 90 Hz to 13,000 Hz, with a recommended high-pass crossover of 220 Hz (24 dB/octave) for full power handling.

       

      This model is ideal for use in multi-speaker professional setups, PA systems, and custom enclosures where space, weight, and performance matter.
