      PRV Audio 6FR200 Full Range Driver

       

      The PRV Audio 6FR200 is a 6.5" full-range loudspeaker designed for high-efficiency sound reproduction in professional audio systems. With a continuous program power of 200 Watts and a peak power rating of 400 Watts, it delivers powerful midbass and detailed high-frequency response suitable for a variety of audio applications including stage monitors, compact PA systems, and DIY speaker projects.

       

      This driver features a high-sensitivity rating of 92.5 dB (2.83V/1m), ensuring impressive output even with modest amplification. The 1.5" diameter voice coil uses a CCAW (Copper-Clad Aluminum Wire) winding on a Kapton former, offering excellent thermal resistance and stability. The Xmax of 3.5 mm and a frequency range from 80 Hz to 20,000 Hz allow it to function efficiently without needing a dedicated tweeter in many applications.

       

      Built on a stamped steel frame for durability, the 6FR200 also includes precision motor design parameters such as a Bl factor of 5.17 Tm, Re of 6.4 ohms, and a low Le of 0.264 mH for enhanced transient response. Recommended high-pass crossover is 85 Hz (12 dB/octave) to ensure full power handling and optimized performance.

       

      Ideal for demanding audio setups, this compact yet powerful speaker combines robust mechanical structure with acoustically refined performance.
