      PRV Audio 15W1800 Professional Low Frequency Driver

       

      The PRV Audio 15W1800 is a 15 inch professional low frequency driver with a nominal impedance of 8 ohm and a nominal power handling of 900 watts. It is designed for high efficiency systems where strong bass response and reliability are required. The driver features a die cast aluminum frame that provides mechanical rigidity and effective heat dissipation during extended operation.

       

      A 4 inch copper voice coil wound on a glass fiber former ensures excellent thermal stability and durability under high power conditions. With a continuous program power rating of 1800 watts and a maximum peak power of 3600 watts, the 15W1800 is suitable for high output PA systems and subwoofer or low midrange applications. The recommended high pass crossover of 55 Hz allows the driver to operate safely at full power levels.

       

      The frequency response of 48 Hz to 2500 Hz makes this driver versatile for use in low frequency or low midrange roles. A sensitivity of 96.5 dB at 2.83 V at 1 meter supports high acoustic output with reduced amplifier demand. The driver’s Thiele Small parameters, including a free air resonance of 45.3 Hz and an equivalent volume of 100.4 liters, make it well suited for vented and horn loaded enclosures designed for professional audio performance.
