      PRV Audio 15SW2000-4 15 inch professional low frequency driver

       

      The PRV Audio 15SW2000-4 is engineered as a robust low frequency driver for professional loudspeaker systems where high output and reliability are required. With a nominal impedance of 4 ohms and a rated power handling of 1,000 W RMS, it is suitable for high power amplifiers used in PA systems, subwoofer designs, and large format enclosures.

       

      The driver features a 4 inch copper voice coil wound on a glass fiber former, allowing efficient heat dissipation and stable operation under continuous high power. A die cast aluminium basket provides mechanical rigidity, while the motor structure delivers a strong Bl factor of 18.29 Tm for controlled cone motion and low distortion.

       

      Thiele Small parameters such as an Fs of 46.8 Hz, Qts of 0.44, and Vas of 84.43 litres make this driver well suited for vented and hybrid enclosures optimized for punchy low frequency reproduction. The cone area of 935 square centimetres and an Xmax of 12.5 mm support high sound pressure levels with controlled excursion.

       

      With a sensitivity of 96 dB at 2.00 V at 1 m and a recommended high pass crossover of 50 Hz for full power handling, the 15SW2000-4 integrates easily into professional multi way systems.
