Peerless by Tymphany OC25SC65-04 1" Textile Dome Tweeter

This OC family tweeter features a 25 mm 4 ohm voice coil, a damped fabric dome for smooth frequency response performance, and ferrofluid in the gap of the neodymium magnet motor, providing enhanced cooling of the voice coil. The tweeter comes with a twist-lock mating feature, to allow for easy installation into custom faceplates.

Bought as a loud yet lightweight full-range speaker for a portable device. Works pretty good. No lows of course, but that was expected. SoundImports have packaged it badly, it arrived with a crumpled dome. But it seems to have fully recovered its original shape in a few hours, amazing!

Doet t perfect. Heb een opgeblazen tweeter van een Amphion Argon vervangen. Na bijsnijden van de hoekjes past ie perfect. 4 ohm ipv 6 ohm was geen probleem. Als opvulling heb ik 3 stalen ringetjes gebruikt. Die werken ook als koeling.

Tweeters in mijn Cambridge Audio S30 klonken dof en dus vervangen. Omdat Cambridge de bestaande tweeters in de faceplate heeft gelijmd, deze er aan de achterzijde uit moeten zagen. Daarna konden de nieuwe tweeters er weer ingelijmd worden. De speakers klinken weer verbluffend helder en sprankelend.

Purchased to replace damaged units in blue Room minipods (like many others). Arrived very quickly. Seem ok I haven't critically listened to them to give an opinion on the sound.

Had it as a replacement for an old minipod tweeter. There were no original tweters with the matching attachment to be found anywhere, but glueing this tweeter worked fine. Sounds really good now. Delivery, price and customner service were also good.

I bought the oc25sc64-05 to replace the damaged tweeters from my old B&W p4’s. Except for fitting a small piece of felt behind them and and changing a female spade connector they fitted into the speaker housing without any modifications.
