      The Morel ST728 can be repaired if it is damaged. The most common type of damage to tweeters is a torn diaphragm. A torn diaphragm will cause the tweeter to sound distorted and harsh. The Morel R-ST728 Repair Set can be used to repair a torn diaphragm.

       

      To repair a torn diaphragm, you will need to remove the old diaphragm from the tweeter. The diaphragm is held in place by the voice coil. Once the old diaphragm is removed, you can install the new diaphragm. Be sure to carefully align the new diaphragm with the voice coil.

       

      Once the new diaphragm is installed, you can reassemble the tweeter. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully to ensure that the tweeter is reassembled correctly.

      It's a tough challenge to hear any difference between the original Dynaudio membrane and the Morel replacement. I'd say they're identical, if not with a slight edge to Morel.
