Very easy to use.
Noticeable improvement in sound quality in my particular application. Sharp 300Hz x-over I used was far better than the passive 400Hz x-over I had previously built as my bass unit colouration was spoiling the better quality mid range driver.

Leuk ding maar erg beperkt in functionaliteit. Deze minidsp heeft maar een 6 bands EQ dit is niet genoeg om de gehele range 5hz tot 20khz goed te corrigeren. Gemiddelde correctie is minimaal 14 bands voor nodig en wil je echt een goede room correction hebben moet je voor een 31 Bands DSP gaan. Verder is dit een leuk product als je een beperkte correctie wilt uitvoeren op kleine frequentie range.

Good product. Do what he says, but the HD version it is much better ( and more expensive to ), with higher output volume plus double the resolution. The software is very easy and intuitive. Enjoyable to play with.

It does what it should, but the software provided is primitive and very limited. No option to quickly bypass equalization, no option to edit multiple channels at once, only 5 bands to edit per processing stage, the minimum possible Q value in parametric equalizer is too high.

Prima artikel met de juiste features om home audio beter te maken. Zelf heb ik een LPF/80Hz voor 2 KEF subwoofers gecombineerd met full-range naar 2 KEF LS50s. Hiermee een volwaardig geïntegreerde speakerset met deep-low gekregen!

This is my second purchase of this neat little unit. I use it for crossover and equalisation purposes and it is phenomenal value for money. You could upgrade to the faster chip in the HD version but that is twice the price and I don't find I need it with my speakers. You can setup the MiniDSP 2x4 using the free software plugin provided with every purchase which is straightforward once you understand the software which will take you a little while...

Alternative you can download REW software for free and, with a good mike, measure your speakers in room response and REW will calculate the correction filters for you. Mein Wohnzimmer ist schwierig in den Griff zu bekommen obwohl ich schon zwei Woofer benutze. Aber das dsp macht seine Arbeit wirklich super.

doet waarvoor het bedoeld is, in mijn geval als hoog/laag filter om mijn frontspeakers van zware bassen te ontlasten.Effect daarop is een sneller en strakker geluidsbeeld.Bovendien is dit nog aan te passen met EQ.

Het was even zoeken welke software ik nodig had (wat plugin genoemd wordt). Heb hem gebruikt voor mijn subwoofer. Je hebt iets van een mic nodig welke de frequenties/volume correct toont (heb zelf een umik-1 aangeschaft).
Het is wel flink puzzelen wat betreft software en instellingen, want rew doet een sweep wat nauwelijks staande golven creeert, in tegenstelling tot muziek dat wel staande golven creeert waarvoor ik andere software vond die di...

Omdat je life aanpassingen kan doen aan de dsp, hoor je direct de verschillen. Dus dit apparaat doet zijn werk prima, maar het is wel even puzzelen. Creeert een aantal ms delay, dus mijn subwoofer staat voor de versterker nu 1m5 verder.

Handig en heel veel functies voor de prijs. Zeer uitgebreide configuratiemogelijkheden via de software en online veel informatie terug te vinden.
Ideaal om subwoofer te EQ-en als je over een UMIK-1 en REW beschikt.
Een bijgeleverde voeding was mooi geweest, maar begrijpelijk gezien de prijsstelling.

Brilliant bit of kit. Very satisfied. I like to keep the audio chain clean. Purchased to add a wee bit of EQ between pre and power amp due to lightweight bass. ( no EQ on pre amp) This was necessary after moving speakers onto solid floor.

Excellent little "Gizmo" that just has the whole package. Endless possibilities of tweaking your active speaker system, which in the end gives a significant better result! I have used the miniDSP 2x4 numerous times, and every time has it impressed me with how cheap all these features can be obtained.

De miniDSP, doet waar hij voor is!
Ik heb het gebruikt om de pieken en dalen van mijn dual subwoofer opstelling uit te vlakken. In combinatie met de Umik-1 microfoon en REW software is dit een eitje.
En wat een verschil! Room response nagenoeg vlak!
En nog 2 kanalen over voor eventuele uitbreiding van mijn systeem!

I used my MiniDSP for filtering a 2 way speaker. After i set up the 4 channel amplifier it took me only 5 minutes to let the speakers work very nicely. It will take a lot of time to improve the sound of my speakers, but with the MiniDSP being interactive it was possible to try out filter changes while the music is playing.

The MiniDSP is a great product. Every sound-Guy should have one! You can EQ a location in just minutes! together with the REW software (open source). Fast shipping and great support! Swapping from a 2x4 to a 2x4HD was no problem and solved smoothly!
if I may suggest: MiniDSP should be also available in an assymmetric XLR version... Even now there is not an real issue, for bands on the road it would be a bit easier to implement in the sound chai...
