The Jantzen Audio 000-L-0150 Litz Wire Wax Coil is a state-of-the-art crossover component designed to enhance your audio experience. With an inductance of 1.5 mH and a low resistance of 0.45 Ω, this coil is engineered to provide clear and dynamic sound. Its unique wax impregnation, the same high-quality wax used in Jantzen's acclaimed Wax Coil series, ensures the integrity of the windings, significantly reducing any microphonic effect and unwanted distortion. The coil is made from high-grade ETP C11000 copper wire, ensuring maximum conductivity and a pure signal path. The 15 AWG size is composed of 7 x 0.5 mm stranded wires, specifically designed to reduce skin and proximity effect losses up to approximately 1 MHz. The coil's inductance tolerance is maintained within +/- 3%, while the DCR tolerance is kept within +/- 5%, making it an ideal choice for audiophiles who demand precision. Co-engineered with Audiothlon™ in Poland, this litz wire wax coil offers a perfect balance between performance and price, offering many of the advantages of foil-based inductors but with a smaller size and lower cost.
