The Jantzen Audio 000-L-0049 Litz Wire Wax Coil is an advanced crossover component designed to enhance your audio experience. By utilizing Litz wire technology, this coil significantly reduces the skin effect and resistance that can impede sound quality, providing more dynamic headroom and a clearer sound profile. Unique to the market, it is the only wax impregnated Litz wire coil available, ensuring the integrity of the windings while reducing distortion and the microphonic effect. Co-engineered with the experts at Audiothlon™ in Poland, this 0.49 mH coil offers a balance between performance and price, making it an excellent middle-ground choice between wire-based and foil-based inductors. Its compact size and affordability, compared to foil-based alternatives, do not compromise its ability to deliver high-quality audio output. Made from electrolytic-tough-pitch (ETP) C11000 copper wire, the coil is designed to minimize skin and proximity effect losses up to frequencies of approximately 1 MHz. With an inductance tolerance of +/- 3% and a DCR (coil resistance) tolerance of +/- 5%, the Jantzen Audio Litz Wire Wax Coil ensures reliability and consistency in your audio systems.
