      The Jantzen Audio Wax Coil is engineered for audio enthusiasts seeking exceptional sound clarity and durability in crossover components. Boasting a 2.0 mH inductance with a tight tolerance of +/- 2%, this coil is designed to preserve the integrity of the audio signal, ensuring high-fidelity sound reproduction. The coil's low direct current resistance (DCR) of 0.28 Ω, with a tolerance of +/- 5%, minimizes energy loss and maintains efficiency. Crafted from Electrolytic-Tough-Pitch (ETP) copper foil, certified C11000/IACS, the Wax Coil offers a substantial surface for electron travel which significantly reduces distortion. Jantzen Audio's special paraffin wax impregnation process eliminates air pockets and increases temperature tolerance, outperforming natural waxes and securing the coil windings over time. The meticulous construction of the coil includes a specially produced paper insulation that, along with the wax, protects the copper foil. This creates a component that not only enhances audio quality but is also built to last, maintaining performance for decades. The Jantzen Audio Wax Coil is an evolution of the Cross Coil, further refined with wax impregnation to excel in high-performance audio systems.
