      The Jantzen Audio 000-1972 Air Core Coil is engineered to refine the performance of audio crossovers with its meticulously crafted design. This 1.0 mH coil is wound with 18 AWG high-purity grade 1B copper wire, ensuring minimal signal distortion and optimal sound quality. The modern self-supporting design negates the need for plastic bobbins, which can cause unwanted resonances, providing a purer audio experience. The enameled copper wire is coated with a polyurethane and aliphatic polyamide bond, making it solderable due to the self-bonding topcoat, compliant with class 155 according to IEC 60317-35 and DIN EN 60317-35 standards. With a resistance of just 0.49 Ω, this air core coil maintains efficiency in the signal path. The low inductance tolerance of +/-3% guarantees precise crossover functionality, ensuring a consistent, high-fidelity audio output suitable for the most discerning audiophiles and high-end audio setups.
