The I.T. Intertechnik TRI62/039/0.50 is a high-end air core coil specifically designed for audio crossover applications. This coil is precision wound with a 7-strand Tritec wire, ensuring increased flexibility and ease of handling. The use of thermoplastic enamel wire, baked and impregnated, leads to very low ohmic resistances and a significantly reduced skin effect. The coil offers no saturation or hysteresis distortions and maintains constant inductance under voltage and load changes. With a copper purity of over 99.99%, it provides excellent sound properties. The coil features a low self-capacitance, a nominal measurement at 25°C, and a temperature coefficient of 0.000394 per °C. The insulation temperature is 150°C, and it can withstand heat form resistance from -90°C to 135°C. With its seven-strand twisted conductor, it can carry higher currents without overheating, reduce electromagnetic interference and high-frequency noise, making it the preferred choice for audio cabling.
