Long throw woofer - 3" voice Coil. Shielded vented Magnet system. Mineral-filled polypropylene Cone.
Dome tweeter - 1" fabric dome, shielded, designed to withstand elevated temperatures. Especially good at reproducing Female vocals.
Easy assemble - with all necessary parts equipped, including speaker cabinets, drivers, screws, wires, acoustic dampening material, grill covers, crossover (already assembled) and other related electronic components. Some tools required.

HiVi Swans DIY2.2-A Bookshelf Speaker | DIY Kit | Cabinet and Components | Black | Pair

This kit includes everything you need to build a 2-way pair of speakers. The boxes are unfinished MDF which you can paint or veneer. A vinyl black wood grain veneer is supplied which you can adhere to the box. Grill cloth and the grill frames are included.

I was so surprised by the weight of the drivers and the cabinets. Everything feels like its of a very high quality. The cabinets and crossovers had been put together already, so it was reasonably easy to do the rest. If I was picky, the speaker screws sheared off very easily, but that might be down my lack of experience. The sound quality was phenomenal, but the lower end wasn't as low as I've read in reviews. I will need the subwoofer still.

Hele fijne speakers, hebben mijn verwachting ruim overtroffen! De cabinets en crossover zijn in tegenstelling tot de omschrijving al pre-assembled. Is een kwestie van speakerdraden solderen, foam aanbrengen aan de binnenzijde, en de drivers monteren. Ongeveer een uurtje werk in totaal. Tip: meet de speakerdraden goed uit, er zit namelijk precies genoeg lengte bij. De speakers hebben een zeer helder geluid, sterke maar gecontroleerde bass (...
