      The SYMPHONY II 12-212/C8/62 HEX is a premium 12" subwoofer optimized for deep, controlled bass reproduction in both sealed and vented enclosures. It features a powerful ferrite magnet with a 1.00 T flux density and an overhung motor structure, ensuring high linearity and low distortion even at elevated excursion levels. The driver achieves a remarkable Xmax of ±8.5 mm electrically and ±15.7 mm mechanically, supported by a Kapton former and dual-layer copper voice coil. With a nominal impedance of 8 Ω and a DC resistance of 6.2 Ω, it integrates well with most amplification setups. Offering a low resonance frequency of 23–24 Hz and a broad recommended frequency range of 25 – 500 Hz, it’s well-suited for subwoofer and low-mid applications in high-end audio systems. The total moving mass of 92.7 g and a suspension compliance of 0.47 mm/N enable accurate transient response. Mechanical and electrical Q values of 7.15 (Qms) and 0.32 (Qes), along with a total Q of 0.31 (Qts), support flexible enclosure tuning. The driver has an effective piston area of 515 cm² and a rated sensitivity of 92 dB SPL (1W/1m), delivering powerful sound output. With a solid overall diameter of 330.5 mm and a cutout diameter of 282 mm, the 12-212/C8/62 HEX is ready to be the foundation of your next serious low-frequency project.
