Denovo 18" Reference DIY Subwoofer Cabinet

This specific cabinet is designed specifically for the dayton-audio-rss460ho-4.html and the Dayton Audio UM18-22 Subwoofer , but will work with any subwoofer with an overall diameter of 457 mm or less and a required cut-out of 407 mm or less. less.The closed enclosure design creates a subwoofer system with a Qtc of 0.644 and an f3 of 40 Hz when used with the Dayton Audio RSS460HO-4 and minimal padding.

During the CNC manufacturing process, recesses are made in the rear panel for precise alignment of the panel. A unique three-piece bracket adds optimal rigidity without affecting the subwoofer's performance. Both side panels feature 18mm" rebates with cutouts to perfectly install the first piece of the two piece, double thick baffle. Installation of a plate amplifier is easily accomplished by making a cutout with a jigsaw. you may need to adjust one of the brackets slightly.

The end result is a resonance-free, sealed subwoofer cabinet built specifically to get the best performance out of Dayton Audio's 18" High Output Reference Series subwoofer. All you need to do is finish it to match your decor or paint it to If your friends ask about it, you'll have the pleasure of saying, "I built it myself!"

Note: The opening in this enclosure is cut only for the UMII18-22. The original UM18-22 Ultimax 18" will not fit. This cabinet still needs to be assembled.

Runde Ecken durch ungenügenden Schutz , weil beim Transport die Ecken durch den Karton schlagen . Nacharbeit bei dem Preis für ein Produkt was aus einer CNC-Fräse kommt ist für mich unakzeptabel . Nuten mit 3mm unterschied ist mir zu viel .

I bought it with the um18 woofer but I think it was a mistake. It plays down really well but this driver is not best suited for closed enclosure for my ear. The improved transient response is unfortunately not doing much especially that this driver doesn't sound punchy above 60hz. Its best used crossed with other sub and used in bigger ported enclosure. For now Im buying another driver pa460 to cross it at 40hz with ultimax that will go to bigger...

I bought last two pieces, First of all the best customer service I have ever seen, Second the product arrived in perfect condition, It takes some time to build this thing but when it's been completed will rip the house in apart. The most powerful subwoofer I have ever owned. Thanks sound imports
