      The SS12-22 is a 12" Signature Series subwoofer featuring dual 2-ohm voice coils, purpose-built for powerful low-frequency extension and extreme output.       The SS12-22 is the flagship 12" subwoofer in the Signature Series, engineered to deliver deep and controlled bass for demanding audio environments. With dual 2-ohm voice coils and 900W RMS power handling, it is designed to excel in both high-output and audiophile-grade setups.

       

      Its sleek one-piece aluminum cone ensures structural rigidity under stress, while the rubber surround offers reliable excursion damping. A 3" 4-layer copper-clad aluminum wire (CCAW) voice coil is wound onto a high-temperature former, allowing the SS12-22 to handle extended high-power playback without thermal compression.

       

      At its core, the motor assembly features a triple magnet structure and triple shorting paths, delivering a high BL factor of 24.3 Tm. The large 23 mm Xmax and massive Sd of 528 cm² allow for a peak displacement (Vd) of 1194 cm³, enabling the subwoofer to move significant air volume with authority and control. Parameters like a low Fs of 27 Hz and Qts of 0.35 make it ideal for sealed or vented enclosures where low-end extension and accuracy are required.

       

      With a sensitivity of 88.1 dB (2.83V/1m) and a usable frequency range from 20–500 Hz, the SS12-22 provides commanding performance in dedicated bass channels, full-range systems, or multi-subwoofer configurations. It's the go-to choice for those who require deep, articulate bass in a 12" format.
