Dayton Audio DATS V3 Sistema di test per componenti audio basato su computer

Il DATS V3 è l’ultima versione del sistema di test audio di Dayton Audio. Questo sistema di misurazione basato su computer è facile da usare e offre numerose funzionalità per acquisire i dati corretti del tuo sistema di altoparlanti.

I parametri elettroacustici di un sistema di altoparlanti sono fondamentali per raggiungere gli obiettivi di progettazione.
Il DATS consente di misurare l’impedenza e ottenere i parametri in modo rapido e semplice.
Oltre alla misurazione dei parametri degli altoparlanti, il DATS è perfetto anche per misurare i valori esatti di componenti passivi come resistori, condensatori e induttanze. Puoi persino usare il DATS per analizzare sistemi completi di altoparlanti (box, crossover e driver).

Oltre ad analizzare componenti e sistemi completi, il DATS può anche essere utilizzato come generatore di segnale e oscilloscopio per analisi a piccolo segnale. Funzionalità software come il "Rub and Buzz Test" rilevano eventuali difetti e sono utili nel controllo qualità del tuo laboratorio.

D: Dove si trova la resistenza di calibrazione?
R: La resistenza di calibrazione è accessibile tramite i morsetti accanto agli ingressi dei cavi di test, nella parte anteriore del dispositivo.

D: Quali sono i requisiti di sistema?
R: I requisiti minimi sono: PC Windows con 64 MB di RAM, processore Pentium III da 500 MHz, sistema operativo Windows Vista, 7, 8 o 10, e una porta USB 1.1.

D: Il DATS V3 è compatibile con Apple OS X?
R: Il software DATS V3 è disponibile solo per Microsoft Windows.
Un’ottima alternativa compatibile con macOS è l’Audiomatica CLIO Pocket.

D: La mia misurazione presenta molte ondulazioni, picchi e avvallamenti. Sono sicuro che il dispositivo in prova sia corretto. Cosa posso fare?
R: Per misurazioni accurate, assicurati che sia Windows che il software DATS utilizzino il DATS come dispositivo audio di input/output.
Puoi modificare queste impostazioni nelle impostazioni audio di Windows e nel software DATS dal menu Edit → Audio Device Settings.

D: Posso usare il DATS per misurazioni della risposta in frequenza?
R: Il DATS V3 è un analizzatore di segnali elettrici e non dispone di funzione microfono. Non può essere usato per misurare la risposta in frequenza. Per queste applicazioni consigliamo il miniDSP UMIK-1, un microfono di misura specifico.

I would give it 5 * but >> I first thought I had gotten a broken DATS but after some research and trying it on a different PC I found out it doesn't work on my Dell XPS 15 - 7590 (laptop). I still don't know why but ok, I have enough PC's to mess around with.

Super Teil! Hätte ich schon vor Jahren gut gebrauchen können. Damit hat das Rätselraten, um die TSP Daten unbekannter Lautsprecher ein Ende und auch unkorrekte Daten aller anderen Hersteller, lassen sich damit sehr schnell überprüfen, bestätigen, oder widerlegen. Ebenso kann man u.a. die Resonanzen von Mittel- und Hochtönern sehr schnell ermitteln... und vieles weitere mehr... z.B. BR - Box Test. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.

I think it is a great product and nice, that you f.ex can measure Thiele-Small parameters very easy. The bouild quality is excellent ant I expect this unit to last for many years. On my test speakerbox, I found the the definition of speaker resonance and bass reflex tuning a little diffuse, but I will try with another box- and tuning.

Gutes Messgerät, um Lautsprecherimpedanzgänge zu überprüfen. Die Software ist nicht allzu bedienerfreundlich, ermöglicht aber alle notwendigen Funktionen. Gut verarbeitet. Wurde schnell versendet und der Endpreis ist hier niedriger, als wenn man es privat aus den USA importiert.

DATS v3 is brilliant. If i could make one suggestion it would be: please update DATS Quick Start.pdf to reflect on the fact that the 1K precision resistor is now integrated in the DATS v3 unit.. I spent several minutes searching for the resistor thinking i had lost it somewhere.

A must-have tool if you are building speakers. Besides measuring impedance and phase of speakers, it can also reliably measure inductors and capacitors, so its really nice to have. Simply love this little thing! It can even do basic oscilloscope functions, but I've never tested it since I already have one. You can also take impedance fingerprint of the whole speaker and compare it to the second speaker- easily catch errors in your schematics.

Have done some manual measuring of T/S-parameters using freq gen and a DVM/osc. Much easier this way! Have some unknown but high quality drivers that now could be used in a correct box. The software could improve a little once you starts to play with different parameters. It doesn't always update the freq resp etc when a param is changed. May be user error? Really handy to click save and then have the basic param saved to a file.

This product was even easier to use then I expected. It is a true plug and play device, but still very accurate. I used this product to measure the impedance of my tweeter and woofer. This information in combination with the frequency measurements from the UMIK-1 made it possible for me to design a passive filter for my project, which sounds very good now! I recommend this product to everyone who needs to measure their speakers accurately.
