The Dayton Audio CS1000-Black subwoofer features a 10" mineral-filled poly cone driver powered by a 180-watt RMS Class-D amplifier, delivering powerful bass down to 28 Hz. Designed as part of Dayton’s Classic Collection, it maintains consistent tonal quality and aesthetic harmony with other speakers in the line.
Its vented cabinet is tuned to 39 Hz for extended low-frequency output and impactful performance across music, movies, and games. With an input sensitivity of 180 mV and maximum output of 109 dB, the CS1000 brings room-filling bass with clarity and precision.
Versatile input options include stereo RCA, dedicated LFE (for AV receivers), and high-level speaker terminals, making it suitable for modern and vintage systems alike. The user has full control over the subwoofer’s behavior with adjustable crossover (40–160 Hz), 0°/180° phase switch, and a subwoofer level knob. The auto-on feature ensures efficient energy use, switching the unit into standby after 15 minutes of no signal.
Measuring 343 x 406 x 365 mm and weighing 13.3 kg, the CS1000 is compact enough for easy placement, yet powerful enough to anchor any listening environment. Finished in satin black with a removable grille, the CS1000-Black offers a perfect mix of subtle design and high-performance bass.
