Dayton Audio AMTPRO-4 Air Motion Transformer Tweeter 4 Ohm

Dayton Audio's AMTPRO-4 model features an extremely large AMT diaphragm with an open-back design and powerful neodymium magnetic assembly. This combination produces high output and low distortion over a broad frequency range, while handling large amounts of amplifier power.

Perfect for use in PA loudspeakers, large-format studio monitors, custom cinema speakers, or extreme performance hi-fi loudspeakers, the AMTPRO-4 can easily be chamber-loaded or open-baffle loaded as required by a particular dipole application. Thanks to its ability to be crossed over as low as 800 Hz, the AMTPRO-4 driver is a uniquely effective solution for midrange reproduction as well as treble, and can even be used as a wide-bandwidth “mid-tweeter” driver.

Dayton Audio AMT (Air Motion Transformer) tweeters borrow technology from the original Heil Air Motion Transformer to provide ultra-clean, detailed, and dynamic treble output. The pleated ribbon diaphragm of an AMT provides a large acoustic radiating area condensed into a compact chassis, for extremely high SPL output, wide bandwidth, and improved power handling.

This is good AMT, a bit directional vertically, but efficiency has a price. Harmonic distortion is very low. In order to fix the less then straight frequency response, I recommend a short horn or waveguide. Ich habe von dem Bändchen schon viel gehört, und plane ein Open Baffle Bausatz, mit diesem Bändchen,.. ich bin auf der Suche, jemanden zu finden, der mir bei dem technischen Aufbau / Abstimmung / messtechnisch der Weichenbauteile und Treiber zur Seite stehen könnte. Grüße. Stefan. M.

Perfekter Klang auch bei hohem Pegel! Preis-/Leistung sehr gut. Einzig die Markierung der Polarität am Chassis fehlt.

Exzellenter Lautsprecher für den oberen Mittel- und den Hochtonbereich. Er besticht durch eine sehr präzise und feinzeichnende Hochtonwiedergabe. Den geringen vertikalen Abstrahlwinkel habe ich erweitert durch zwei übereinander angeordnete Einheiten, welche in einem leicht geöffneten Winkel montiert sind. Durch die höhere Belastbarkeit bei zwei in Serie geschalteten Lautsprecher konnte ich auch eine Frequenzweiche mit geringerer Flankensteil...

I have 2 Italian Opera - Mini speakers that are 20 years old and decided to give them a big update. I bought 2 Dayton Audio AMTPRO-4 tweeters and 2x FaitalPRO 5FE120, 4 ohm, 5 inch. I used the Dayton Audio Hi pass and lo pass Filters at 800Hz. As a sound engineer I can say, the combination works wonders! I can't recommend this combination enough!!!

Zeer professionele amt, alleen de aansluitclips horen bij een dergelijk apparaat steviger te zijn. ten opzichte van Ess/Heil, Mundorf en Beyma is ie spotgoedkoop maar bijna net zo goed

Klinkt heerlijk transparant en beter dan verwacht. Horizontale spreiding is goed, Verticaal bundelt de tweeter door zijn hoogte wel in het tophoog. Dus op de juiste hoogte uitrichten is absoluut noodzakelijk om al het moois van deze verder geweldige tweeter te kunnen horen. Filter zelf 24 dB per octaaf actief bij 2000 herz. Ik overweeg per kant er nog 1 of 2 bij te kopen voor iets meer sweetspot bij de luisterplaats. Ga eerst nog experimenteren.
