Classix II MT Bookshelf Speaker Kit Components Only

The Classix II kit is a 2-way bookshelf speaker that provides a big sound from a small package. With powerful bass response, relaxed mid-range, and natural high end this speaker has the ability to make even poor recordings sound great.

With the exceptional low frequency ability of the popular Dayton Audio DC160-8 6½ (16.5cm) woofer the Classix II delivers plenty of bass for most small to medium sized rooms. For the upper frequencies this kit uses the Peerless by Tymphany BC25TG15-4 1" (2.54cm) silk dome tweeter which is known for natural, non-fatiguing response making this speaker ideal for long listening sessions. This kit includes nearly everything you need to build a top-notch speaker in no time, including: the drivers, port, damping material, and crossover components.

Note: Cabinets are not included.

Mooie kit, zit nu in elkaar en dik tevreden! Mooi vol geluid. Wel beetje vreemd dat ik de aanbevolen maatvoering van de kast gevold heb maar toch niet helemaal uitkwam met het dempmateriaal. Nu zijn delen van de kast niet beplakt met demping. Maar alsnog klinkt het als een huis en erg leuk om als houthobbyist te doen!

Ottimo suono complessivo, bassi profondi alti leggermente eccessivi ma dipende certamente dall' amplificazione... ho inserito il kit in casse di multistrato da25mm!! impregnato ebano ed uno strato di cera...con le dimensioni dello schema Crossover di facile assemblaggio.tutto perfetto... grazie

I have build this speaker for my brother. It’s Paul Carmody his favorite for late hour listening. I can indeed confirm that. I have compared them with the Amiga speaker. Was able to put them next to each other in an A/B setup. The Amiga reaches a bit deeper and has a more authoritative sound but the Classix II wasn’t far behind. Especially considering the costs. It's been a long time since I built speakers. Be craving a small lightweight construction. I found the Classix II MT kit that I also read about online. The components were well packed and everything was largely included. What I miss was a drawing over the speaker filter and the box.
