Beyma TD-1464P Constant Directivity Horn
The Beyma TD-1464P is a constant directivity horn designed for use with 1.4” throat compression drivers, such as the Beyma CD314Nd/Ti. It features a rotatable square design (270 x 270 mm), enabling flexible horizontal or vertical mounting. Its nominal dispersion is 60° (horizontal) x 40° (vertical), providing precise coverage for vocal clarity and intelligibility in medium to long-throw applications. Constructed from heavy-duty reinforced polycarbonate, the TD-1464P is lightweight yet rugged, making it ideal for portable and installed systems. The F.E.M.-optimized flare ensures accurate control of directivity across the bandpass, while minimizing unwanted resonances and coloration. With a low cutoff frequency of 800 Hz, this horn allows for lower crossover points, increasing its compatibility with a wide range of compression drivers. It offers a high directivity index (DI) of 12.7 dB on average, ensuring focused energy dispersion for efficient acoustic output. Mounting is standardized via four M6 threaded holes on a 101.6 mm bolt circle. Cut-out dimensions are 235 x 235 mm, and the horn has a depth of 171 mm. At just 1.2 kg, the TD-1464P balances strength and portability, making it a reliable solution for professional sound system designers.
