Beyma FD 250 Passive Crossover Network
The Beyma FD 250 is engineered to deliver accurate frequency division and tonal balance in 2-way loudspeaker systems. It employs 12 dB/octave crossover slopes and supports more than 500 WRMS of power, ensuring compatibility with high-output drivers and professional-grade sound reinforcement applications. This passive filter offers configurable impedance settings for the low-frequency section, allowing for either 4 or 8 ohm loads through terminal bridging. The high-frequency output can be fine-tuned using four different attenuation options: 3 dB, 6 dB, or 7.5 dB, or left unattenuated. These options help equalize the output to match the woofer's sensitivity, delivering a flatter, more balanced response. The crossover is supplied preconfigured for an 8-ohm LF load with no attenuation or equalization on the high-frequency side. As with all passive networks, proper installation according to the instructions is critical to avoid potential damage to drivers or amplifier equipment.
