      Beyma CD-151Fe-PT Compression Driver

       

      The Beyma CD-151Fe-PT is a high-efficiency 1” exit compression driver designed for precise and dynamic high-frequency delivery. Engineered with a 1.5” copper-clad aluminum voice coil wound on a Kapton former, it offers impressive power handling of 140 W (program) above 1.8 kHz and high sensitivity of 110 dB (1W/1m). This makes it ideal for compact yet powerful sound reinforcement systems. The driver incorporates Deplocex® patent-pending thermal dissipation technology to minimize power compression and ensure stable performance under extended use. VPEQ® technology further enhances its frequency linearity, making it suitable for critical listening applications. The diaphragm uses a FEM-optimized advanced polyester annular ring design, contributing to its smooth and extended frequency range from 0.9 to 20 kHz. A FEM-optimized ceramic magnet structure generates 1.6 T of flux density and a Bl factor of 6 N/A, enabling precise and clean acoustic output with excellent transient response. The inclusion of a copper shorting cap helps reduce harmonic distortion and improve output linearity. Physically compact at 102 mm diameter and only 44.4 mm deep, the CD-151Fe-PT is easy to integrate in tight enclosure designs. Mounting is supported with three M5 threaded holes at 120º on a 57 mm circle and two M5 holes at 180º on a 76.2 mm circle. Weighing just 1.3 kg, this driver is an efficient and powerful choice for portable or installed audio systems.
