      The Beyma CD-1114Fe is a 1.4" exit high-frequency compression driver designed to deliver articulate and transparent audio reproduction, particularly in mid-sized PA systems, monitors, and compact arrays. Its standout feature is the 1.75” DUO double-layer in/out aluminum voice coil, which allows excellent thermal conductivity and transient response, contributing to clean, undistorted sound reproduction. This driver features a PM4 polymer diaphragm that provides a smooth, natural frequency response from 0.7 kHz up to 19 kHz, with reduced breakup modes and tonal coloration. With a sensitivity of 109 dB (1W/1m) and a power handling capability of 140 W program power above 1.5 kHz, the CD-1114Fe offers efficient performance in lightweight applications. Its ferrite magnet motor structure is optimized using Finite Element Analysis (FEA), ensuring high magnetic flux density (1.5 T) and a stable BL factor of 6.6 N/A. The aluminum cover provides additional durability, and the driver’s compact form factor—measuring just 110 mm in diameter and 58 mm in depth—makes it suitable for space-constrained enclosures. Mounting is straightforward using four M6 threaded holes spaced 90º apart on a standard 101.6 mm (4") circle. At just 1.9 kg, the CD-1114Fe is a lightweight and capable choice for system designers seeking natural response and efficiency in a compact compression driver.
