      Beyma 8CX300Nd/N Coaxial Transducer

       

      The Beyma 8CX300Nd/N is a high-performance 8” coaxial transducer designed to deliver full-range sound in a single point source format. With 250 W AES / 500 W program power in the LF section and 50 W AES / 100 W program power in the HF driver, this unit ensures a balanced and powerful acoustic output. The 96 dB (LF) and 104 dB (HF) sensitivities contribute to its impressive efficiency and clarity. The transducer features a 2.5” LF voice coil and a 1.75” HF voice coil, both mounted on a common, lightweight neodymium magnet structure for optimal alignment and space efficiency. A shorting cap minimizes harmonic distortion and extends the upper frequency range, while the PM4 diaphragm in the HF driver promotes natural and smooth sound reproduction. Its cone is constructed from carbon fiber-loaded paper and is treated for waterproofing, supported by a Santoprene™ surround for mechanical control and environmental durability. With a usable frequency range from 60 Hz to 20 kHz and a recommended HF crossover of 1.5 kHz (12 dB/oct min), the 8CX300Nd/N is suited for high-quality applications such as studio monitors, compact PA systems, and single-source reinforcement in fixed or portable setups. Its compact depth (106 mm) and 2.8 kg weight make it ideal for space-conscious designs where fidelity and output are non-negotiable.
