      The Beyma 8CMV2 is a compact 8” low and mid-frequency transducer designed for efficient, linear performance in vented cabinets. With a 1.5” CCAW voice coil and pressed steel frame, it combines durability with clean, low-distortion response across a broad frequency range.

      Beyma 8CMV2 Low & Mid Frequency Transducer

       

      The Beyma 8CMV2 is an 8-inch low and mid-frequency transducer ideal for compact vented speaker enclosures where natural tonal balance and high power handling are required. Designed with a 1.5” CCAW (copper-clad aluminum wire) voice coil, it handles 250 W AES and 500 W program power while maintaining a sensitivity of 94 dB (1W/1m). Its linear response from 80 Hz to 8,000 Hz makes it suitable for bass and midbass roles in 2- or 3-way systems. The unit features a ferrite magnet structure and an optimized pressed steel frame for mechanical stability. The treated double roll cloth surround supports low distortion and clean excursion. With an Xmax of 5.7 mm, peak-to-peak excursion of 29 mm, and a resonant frequency of 75 Hz, the 8CMV2 performs optimally in a 20-liter bass-reflex cabinet tuned to 74 Hz. Its compact 92 mm depth and light 2.4 kg weight make it a strong candidate for portable PA cabinets, monitors, and compact hi-fi systems that require efficient and articulate low-mid frequency output.
