      Beyma 6G40Nd Low & Mid Frequency Transducer

       

      The Beyma 6G40Nd is a 6.5” low and mid-frequency transducer designed for demanding professional audio setups, especially in compact enclosures and line array systems. With a 2” aluminum voice coil and a neodymium magnet structure optimized using FEA techniques, the 6G40Nd delivers an impressive 170 W AES and 340 W program power, all while maintaining high sensitivity at 94 dB. Engineered for both performance and durability, this transducer includes a weatherproof treatment on both sides of the cone, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The motor design features a shorting cap that extends high-frequency response and reduces distortion, ideal for maintaining clarity in midbass and vocal ranges. Operating across a frequency range of 90 to 8,000 Hz, the 6G40Nd is especially effective in midrange-focused applications. Its compact size, light weight (1.6 kg), and low inductance (0.2 mH) make it a prime choice for modern line arrays and high-performance compact enclosures where space, efficiency, and sound quality are key priorities.
