      Beyma 18LEX1200Fe Low Frequency Transducer

       

      The Beyma 18LEX1200Fe is a robust 18” low-frequency driver designed for high-efficiency subwoofer applications. With an AES power handling of 1,200 watts and a program power rating of 2,400 watts, it delivers high output while maintaining excellent fidelity. The driver exhibits a sensitivity of 97 dB (1W/1m) and covers a frequency range of 40 to 1,000 Hz, making it ideal for deep and controlled bass reproduction in both direct-radiating and band-pass systems.

      Equipped with a 4” DUO in/out copper voice coil, this transducer features an advanced FEA-optimized ceramic magnet structure, delivering strong Bl factor (23.2 N/A) and low distortion. Its extended linear excursion of ±11 mm (Xmax) and 48 mm peak-to-peak damage threshold ensures stable and powerful performance at high SPL levels.

      Thermal management is handled by Beyma’s exclusive Malt Cross® cooling system, which helps reduce power compression and enhance long-term stability. The cone, weatherproofed on both sides, along with the double silicone spider and aluminium demodulating ring, enhances durability and smooth performance. Recommended for use in bass-reflex enclosures tuned to 42 Hz (Vb = 172 L), the 18LEX1200Fe is a professional-grade solution for precise and resilient low-frequency sound systems.
