      Beyma 12MI100 Mid Frequency Transducer

       

      The Beyma 12MI100 is a 12-inch transducer optimized for mid-frequency reproduction in professional audio systems. It features a 3” aluminum voice coil wound on a polymide fiber glass former and is designed for low distortion and excellent transient response. Delivering 450 W AES and 900 W program power, it maintains high sensitivity at 100 dB (1W/1m), ensuring articulate and dynamic performance. Engineered with a large magnetic assembly for improved thermal dissipation, the 12MI100 combines robust power handling with 5.1% efficiency—ideal for applications requiring loud and clear midrange output. The mechanical structure allows for a peak-to-peak excursion of 24 mm, while maintaining excellent control across its operating range of 60 Hz to 4,000 Hz. Its light moving mass (0.047 kg) and moderate depth (135 mm) make it an excellent fit for compact cabinet designs focused on vocal and midband clarity. With a net weight of 7.2 kg, the 12MI100 is a high-quality choice for touring PA, monitors, and fixed installations requiring refined midrange detail.
