Arylic S50 Pro+ WiFi & aptX HD Preamplifier With Dac And Multiroom Support

Features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, DLNA streaming, NAS (Network Attached Storage), online High-Res music streaming, aptX HD playback, and a free iOS and Android app are generally part of really expensive equipment. The Arylic S50 is jam-packed with all these features which is impressive, especially considering its price.

When you are near the S50 Pro you can easily control it with the included remote control and built in OLED Display, in any other situation you can open up the free app to control the volume of each Arylic device on your network, set up a multi-room network, create a True Wireless Stereo setup, adjust equalizer settings, and select the desired source. The S50 Pro has a wide range of inputs, line-in, optical, wired or wireless network, Bluetooth connection, or USB input. Your amplifier or active speakers are simply hooked up using the RCA line-out thanks to the built-in ESS 9023 based DAC, the coaxial, or even the optical output. It also features a subwoofer output for an active subwoofer to create a 2.1 system. The intuitive inputs, outputs, remote control, and app make the S50 Pro extremely easy to hook up and set up for almost all of its users. The 12 volt trigger enables control over an external amplifier that supports trigger operation.

What also makes the S50 Pro such an outstanding preamplifier is that it supports High-Res Music streaming and aptX HD. This means no compression at all! 24bit/192kHz streaming brings you as close to the original recording as you can get. Closely following the High-Res Streaming, the addition of Bluetooth 5.0 aptX HD further improves Bluetooth audio processing, lowering latency and increasing the bit depth and bandwidth to a level that surpasses CD-quality.

In gebruik om hoofdtelefoon versterker aan te sturen. Doet wat ik ervan verlang. Zou handig zijn als de versterker aan zou gaan als deze aangesproken wordt vanuit de app. Scheelt weer een afstandbediening. Vooralsnog

I have owned this for a while now, and it does a very good job. I use it together with digital forstærker Fosi Audio (E 10 PRO 2×100w 8ohm) and together they give a very analog sound, provides good dynamics and a detailed music experience you can listen to for hours. Connected with optical cable also from tv to Arylic S50 Pro+ with optical cable (gives the best sound).

Easy set up. I’ve hooked up to Klipsch active speakers with good quality RCA cables. I stream hi res from qobuz. The sound is brilliantly balanced. Superb piece of kit for a sensible cost

Purchased the S50 Pro, by which I was slightly disappointed, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Why? The hardware sounds surprisingly good for the price. However, it lacks support for Amazon Music HD, for which I am a subscriber and which is why I bought the S50, as an alternative, higher quality streamer/DAC.
