The P220 is a 8 inch Passive Radiator with an Aluminium Sandwich Dome. Extra mass can easily be added to tune the resonance frequency. A simple but robust screw mount provides fixing of stainless steel discs in the desired quantity.

Accuton P220 8'' Passive Radiator with Dark Grey Cones

The Accuton P220 is an adjustable high-end passive radiator that is an ideal partner for the C220 range of drive units. The passive radiator has an aluminum sandwich dome and a rigid multi-branch chassis. The maximum excursion of the passive radiator is ± 5.5mm. The overall diameter of the passive radiator is 220 mm.

The values of Vas and Cms allow for extensive tuning and various box sizes. The stated resonance frequency of the passive radiator is taken at 3mm excursion, offering a realistic value. It can be calculated as follows: Fres= sqrt[1/(Cms corr.) x Mms x 4 pi^2)] with Cms corr.= 1/[(1/Cms) + 1/((Vb/Vas) x Cms)]
