The Monacor SP-155X is a high efficiency 6’’ full range driver with a surprisingly linear response and a boosted low-midrange to compensate for the baffle step losses. Furthermore it exhibits all the positive characteristics of a full range speaker, such as the point source reproduction, with reduced beaming in the highs thanks to the well-integrated whizzer cone: The best of both worlds!
It is efficient enough to be a very competent PA woofer but it is also very well suited for home audio purposes, especially high efficiency point source speaker systems.
