        Tang Band W3-1878 3" Full Range Driver

         

        The Tang Band W3-1878 full-range driver features an underhung neodymium motor design that provides extended, linear response while reducing 2nd and 3rd harmonic distortion. The bamboo/paper cone is lightweight yet appropriately rigid and is terminated with a durable foam rubber half roll surround. A unique aluminum phase plug improves dispersion at the speaker's higher frequencies.

        Erstaunlich, welch vollen Klang der kleine Breitbänder schon in einem kleinen Gehäuse erzeugt.

        Die Größe lässt nicht auf die Leistung schließen. Sehr direkte und detaillierte Wiedergabe. Auch bis 40 Hz leichtfüßig und spontan. Die Höhen sind klar und unaufdringlich, sicher keine Gewebe-Kalotte, aber gut. Andere FR kommen kaum bis dahin. Preis/Leistung ist also relativ. Im richtigen Gehäuse ersetzt dieser kleine Kraftprotz eine ganze Handvoll Mehraufwendungen. Bin ein bisschen begeistert...
