      Tang Band's W6-2144 full-range driver uses and underhung motor to deliver linear response with minimal 2nd and 3rd order THD. The bamboo fiber reinforced paper cone uses a whizzer cone for improved high frequency and off axis response.

      The W6-2144 full range driver from Tang Band with its bamboo fiber reinforced paper cone can provide incredibly smooth response from 45 to 20,000 Hz. With an underhung motor design, most of the voice coil stays within the magnetic gap for the highest possible control to keep 2nd and 3rd order harmonic distortion at a minimum. The unique whizzer cone with phase plug design allows for better dispersion while increasing high frequency response. This driver is ideally suited for small single driver speaker systems with incredibly smooth and full sound.

      Chasis wurde in Tubygehäuse eingebaut. Objektiv (gemesen mit Messmikrofon im Wohnraum) verringert sich die gemessene Lautstärke über 2 khz um ca 5dB. Subjektiv ist der Hochton etwas im Vordergrund. Durch Absenkung des Hochtones ( über einen Saugkreis) habe ich dies jedoch für mein Empfinden angepasst. Stimmen und Srache werden sehr sauber wiedergegeben. Tiefton fällt erst ab 45Hz ab. Ich hab selten so einen klaren sauberen Sound gehört. Preisleistung absolute Spitzenklasse.
