The Dayton Audio’s shallow subwoofers are back with a new and improved design which will let you put more bass into less space. The new Dayton Audio LS12-44 Profile Subwoofer gives over 10 mm of controlled excursion, for a bass that goes hard and hits deep, even in places where normal subwoofers will never fit. The drivers are perfect if you want to place them in floors, walls, and ceilings, or in other narrow spaces like the space behind the seat of your truck.

The LS Series from Dayton Audio have an innovative design and makes it possible for the subwoofer to have a shallow form and low profile. With a flat and rigid piston made out of aluminum honeycomb with glass fiber skins, the subwoofer no longer has a conventional cone. The balanced double-roll surround design of the subwoofer maximizes the stability of the moving structure, even at high excursion, preventing mechanical noise. Dayton has optimized the assembled motor for a symmetrical motion and low distortion, with dual heavy-gauge aluminum shorting rings for low inductance and fast, impactful bass. At last, a 6-layer dual voice coil ensures maximum available force from the compact motor, which features high-grade ceramic ferrite magnetic material, and enable 2 ohm or 8 ohm wiring.

With making this next-generation shallow subwoofer which is capable of over 10 mm of linear excursions, Dayton Audio has made sure that no quality has been sacrificed in the creating process. Zeer kwalitatieve subwoofer.Heb deze in een REL Q100 subkast geplaatst ,wel de kast binnen voor 75 procent bekleed met bitumenplaat en nog wat extra demping achterin.Dit speelt echt fenomenaal,gaat merkelijk lager en een echte audiofiele bas.Rel zou beter Dayton gebruiken ipv die heel goedkope plaatchassis woofers.Een aanrader voor elke Q100 bezitter.
