Speaker cabinet feet are mostly tiny rubber feet, while speaker spikes are tiny cones. Both are used used to separate your DIY speakers or Hi-Fi speakers from the surface on which they are standing. The primary purpose for doing so is to dissociate the two surfaces to hinder vibrations from passing between the two surfaces, affecting the speakers' sound quality negatively. Another reason is to prevent scratches in the speaker cabinet and/or the surface the speaker is standing on. Therefore, speaker cabinet feet are convenient for Bluetooth speakers since they get carried around a lot and get placed on several different surfaces! Here at SoundImports, one can choose from several speaker cabinet feet and speaker spikes from our famous brands Dayton Audio and Monacor!

Are speaker cabinet feet only for DIY projects?

No, absolutely not. Speaker cabinet feet and speaker spikes can also be seen as a considerable upgrade for already existing pre-assembled speakers.

What is the difference between speaker rubber feet and speaker spikes?

Neither affects sound quality, and the answer is relatively simple: speaker spikes are the first choice on a carpet floor/surface to give a better grip. Speaker cabinet feet, on the other hand, are recommended for hard and smooth flooring and surfaces.
