The compact DX20BF00-04 semi-horn loaded 3/4" silk dome tweeter from Peerless achieves a remarkably low resonant frequency for its size by using a wide surround and large resonant chamber. With smooth response and low distortion, this is an excellent choice for smaller 2-way designs and car audio systems.

Peerless by Tymphany DX20BF00-04 3/4" Silk Dome Tweeter

This DX family tweeter features a 19mm 4 ohm voice coil, a damped silk diaphragm with large surround roll to produce a low resonant frequency, and a ferrite magnet motor which adds heat sinking for power handling capacity. The faceplate features recessed mounting holes to minimize reflections.

I bought them as a replacement for a pair of M800 Grundig. I have another pair of Canton Quintos' and now the Grundigs sound as well if not better with these tweeters. Very well balanced and detailed sound, without beeing too pitchy or too bright. I didn't modify the crossover and I don't think it is needed. Very good product for this price! And they are ferrofluid cooled :)
